Embrace Lye

If you want to make CP soap, lye must be used. Lye is caustic and can burn your skin if used incorrectly so, practice safety precautions at all times. In the CP soap classes, Di is very thorough about the use and safety of lye. I have been making CP soap for approximately 1 1/2 years and there has been no safety issues🤞. Respect, follow and practice safety always and you will have a beautiful relationship with lye and make marvelous bars of soap😊.

Grace, always great to be reminded to use lye in a safe manner. Even the long time soap makers have been know to get complacent and not use their equipment. The eyes, always protect the eyes with safety GOGGLES, the ones that go right to the skin of your face, not glasses.
